Common questions
How Fast We Get to You
What happens after I call?
You'll talk to a person, not a menu of options, and we'll book a licensed plumber straight away. Once they're on site, the actual cause gets diagnosed and priced up before any work actually begins.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, every day of the year, holidays included. The roster doesn't change just because it's a Sunday or a long weekend.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Water actively spraying or pooling, no hot water across the whole house, a suspected gas leak, or sewage backing up all count. A single slow drain usually doesn't, though we're happy to talk it through either way.
Are you really available 24/7?
Genuinely, yes. A real person answers at 3am the same way they would at 3pm, not a machine reading a menu of options.
Common questions
Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off
How does your upfront fixed pricing work?
We look at the job, then quote a fixed amount before any work starts. That figure doesn't move once you've agreed to it, no matter how the job unfolds once we're inside it.
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
New customers get $65 knocked off their first invoice with us, stacked on top of the $0 call-out fee already in place. It doesn't matter whether you booked through the website or rang direct.
Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?
Because the lowest quote on paper often isn't the lowest cost once callbacks and shortcuts get factored in. We'd rather remove the financial risk with an agreed price and a lifetime labour warranty than race other quotes to the bottom.
What payment options do you offer?
Card and standard electronic payment on completion, and we'll run through the options with you when the job's confirmed. Payment happens once you're satisfied the work's done properly.
Common questions
Local to Cranebrook
Do you cover the suburbs next to Cranebrook?
Yes, Penrith, Emu Plains, Glenmore Park, Jamisontown and Kingswood are all a regular part of the run, not an occasional detour from home turf.
How local are you, really?
We're out on Cranebrook's own streets constantly, which means the older housing patterns aren't something we have to figure out on arrival, we already know them.
Why do Cranebrook's older homes get plumbing emergencies?
A lot of the original 1970s housing stock is now on its second or third hot water unit, and the reactive clay underneath the suburb has spent decades stressing the pipework laid through it.
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes. Newer builds have their own issues, usually a poorly seated fitting rather than age, and we quote them the same honest way as anything older.
Common questions
Who's Responsible for What
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
There's no separate cover period to keep track of, and no small print about how long it lasts. Should our own workmanship let you down later, putting it right is on us.
Can you check my licence number?
Yes. We hold Lic #465156C, and you can look it up yourself on the NSW public register at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au to confirm it's current.
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
It comes down to where the blockage actually sits. The drain running from your fixtures to the connection point is private, so that stretch is ours to clear. Once it passes into the main beyond that point, responsibility shifts to Sydney Water, and that section isn't billed to you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, fully licensed and insured, with every plumber and gas fitter on the tools carrying the qualification personally.
